Interface Dynamics Readies Products and Tools To Empower Internet Users
Interface Dynamics Inc. unveils WuWu to provide a foundation for improving the way people communicate and work together
CLEARWATER FL  -- Aug. 21, 2001 - Today Interface Dynamics Inc.  Unveiled WuWu, a product designed to empower internet users with new forms of communication, providing easier ways to manage and share critical information. As a result, users of WuWu will have access to the information they need, when they need it, regardless of where it resides across the internet.
Connecting People Across the Internet
WuWu is an incredible new group-based communication product that will enable people to use one single interface to communicate with other people online using different methods like: instant messages, chat, file sharing, voting, and many other types of collaboration. WuWu uses "Communication Modules" to do this which are simple to add and remove and they are completely separate from the application, which means that after the release people will be able to create their own custom communication modules using our ModuleSDK. While in beta testing, the full version of WuWu will remain available for free. Once the product is released the "lite" version will remain free to the home user and the "Pro" version will be available for $20 U.S. per seat with Strong Encryption and an even larger palette of Communication Modules. Companies will be able to purchase bulk packages that will allow them to set up their own groups within their company network and make it completely independent from the outside world. And because the system is designed to be modular and flexible, users can load a much more "Corporate" set of communication modules. Modules that will allow remote updates and configuration of the product on all your machines from one location and there are other collaboration modules like whiteboards and distributed processing that will allow businesses to run in a more efficient manner.
WuWu 0.9 beta is the most thoroughly tested version of the product ever. Interface Dynamics has previously deployed WuWu to a large group of mostly volunteer testers across the world, and at this beta product release, we look to expand the number of testers to thoroughly evaluate our product. In doing this, future versions of WuWu benefit from increased reliability, ease of use and a better overall online experience.
